PINK SAND  – long drive

very traditional mountain village,
exterminated in WW2
don’t mess with these dudes

wander in the harbour and through the old streets – wonderful in the evenings, NATO base nearby

Nice farmy plateau in middle of mountains

Lake Kournas – lovely spot for a dip and a meal

Marathi, Crete – gorgeous beach and Tavernas
